Big thanks to Noah Hurwitzle and Mark Arcenal for sending me a pre-release version last week 🙂
Don’t forget to add me – rwb_gary and don’t forget to give a good review!
Little bit late in posting this but been pretty busy with other things and forgot about a lot of photos I have. Still have to post my 7 day coverage/Honda Collection hall and idlers part 2 :O
It seems that with almost every event I have been to in Japan, the cars in the carparks are just amazing and makes me wonder why half of them aren’t in the actual shows themselves! The following images will make you realise why I think this…
So as you may know, for the past few months I have been working more and more with Nakai at RWB so he asked me for the second year running to attend the 12 hour endurance race at Motegi. The difference this year, is that I would be working the whole time, setting up the cars, pit stops, fixing any problems that may happen throughout the race and after etc. As you can imagine, he didn’t need to ask me twice 🙂
This year I didn’t get so many photos as I was busy for a lot of the time but there are enough for a couple of posts.
I arrived at RWB at 10pm saturday night and was handed the keys to ‘Tarantula’, the spoiler-less black 964 from my previous posts and told to drive Chad, our RWB customer from Florida who flew over with his father to race for us. We all eventually headed out the expressway together, over a dozen RWB porsches of all colours screaming their way to a PA so we could fill up on gas and Red Bull(me anyway)…
Hour or so drive to the track and into our allocated pits, no’s: 25,26 and 27…
Check out the rest in the gallery below and I will post part 2 in a few days 🙂
It took me a while but I eventually made it to a JCCA event after 2 years of always being busy when they were on. I had a choice of either JCCA at Tsukuba or the Skyline Festival at Fuji Speedway so I chose JCCA and my friend Danny from FC Autosource headed to Fuji(I will post some of his photos in a seperate post)
